I haven't seen any atheist wank specifically, but the SJWs are getting out of hand in general. It seems like there used to be very little drama here, and now it seems like the comm is filled with assholes starting wank just for the hell of it.

Is there such a thing as a SJW who isn't "out of hand"? I get the impression the term is a pejorative in the first place. It's not like anyone refers to themselves as a SJW, after all, or like anyone else thinks there's a level of SJW-ness that isn't "too much".

In any case, I haven't seen that much drama here. Now and then someone says something that gets someone else's hackles up, and they get called out. Sometimes it's justified, sometimes it isn't; sometimes wank happens, sometimes doesn't. In any case, I feel this place manages pretty well to stay away from ugliness of both sides, ie generally there seems to be very little sexism, homophobia, other forms of prejudice and very little Social Justice War.

Yes, very few people are going to get into your snoot if you link to real-world activist efforts or do your own informed reviews about mass media.

No, they range from "not worth listening to" to "toxic to their own cause" but never have any actual value except maybe re-blogging something from somebody better then them.
