Personally, I go to fandom for the sex fic. :/ I live in a very... prude? household. In the weirdest way, too. Not religious, but they all seem to think they are too "intelligent" for sex. If I were to buy like an erotica book, I'd get so much shade from my family. So it's really nice to be able to just go somewhere and be able to read really awesome porn. I can get gen anywhere, with no issues.

Not that gen fic is bad, just... not really any use for me.

Haha, same. I go to fanfic for the stuff I don't get anywhere else. Everyone needs their "fix" somewhere, and fic is my source.
