Re: Your fictional heroes from when you were a little kid

Does Hermione Granger count? And yes I still love her.

There was this girl from a Swedish book series I really liked though, I'm not completely sure what the book series is called in English, but it was awesome and one of the first books that where longer than 100ish pages that I read. It's been ages though and I don't remember that much, I was like 10 when I read it.

Other than that, I dunno? I didn't (and still don't) have a lot of fictional heroes so to speak. I got a lot of fictional characters I love, but usually I like characters I identify with on some level, which makes me fear for my love of Mickey from Shameless US really.

why does my comment always end up being mini essays? I should probably work on that

Hermione's probably the closest thing for me. I didn't tend to make heroes or role models out of characters much, I don't think..

(I like your mini essays :)

Do you remember the Norwegian title? Or the name of the author?

And yes, Herminone counts. =)

Skyggeserien av Maria Gripe is the Norwegian title!

I actually kinda new it, I actually own most of the series so I could have just gotten up last night and looked at them.

Oh, I loved those books (Skugg-serien) too! Unfortunately they don't seem to have been translated to English.
