Argentinean.

Not really, I guess I like it here and I'm used to it but wouldn't mind being from somewhere else.
I hate how arrogant people here are, and how they want to be the "best" at everything... and now we have a Pope, and people celebrating like idiots. Sigh.

Oh, and I believe the Malvinas/Falklands Islands are British :D (no, I don't say that out loud often)

I was wondering about how big the celebrations about the pope were being there...

And hey, didn't the president ask for mediation on the Falklands islands recently?

I don't know much because among my circle of friends some are enraged and others don't care much, but I guess common people are still happy and proud, they were celebrating in the streets and such when it was announced. Oh, and the newspapers are filled with stupid stories such as "he married my daughter and I'm a journalist so I'll write an article about how cool this is", or "I saw him on the subway!!1", "I breathed the same air", etc.

Yeah, she also mentioned it to the Pope today, I think? It's such a touchy subject, but it's a matter of pride more than anything, I can't believe everybody cares that much about two tiny islands (I do know about sea rights, and how the maritime zone is related to land and etc... I still don't think it's such a big deal)
