I have a recurring boil on my labia. Most painful and embarrassing thing in the world. The ironic part is that my doctor has told me repeatedly it's because I wash with soap and I'm supposed to just kind of rinse myself but I can't bring myself to stop using soap.

It's okay, anon. Soap, no soap, special creams, I get bumps all over mine that hurt and sometimes become zits, no matter what I do. :( I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with me, but I'm not looking forward to asking about it.

I get them too but I'm only ever embarrassed about them if they get in the way of my SO and I having sex. He's very understanding but it's still embarrassing, especially if we can't be intimate at all because of them.

I've always heard not to use soap to wash there but seriously, ew. I use soap and I have never had any problems.
