Again, it depends on how you are writing the scene. 'Grunt' is not unsexy if used in an appropriate context. For example, I think it fits in a scene where the sex is kind of rough, rushed, or dirty because the word carries that kind of connotation. For something different, I might focus on the feelings behind the 'unf' rather than any specific sound. There may be a sexier word to substitute for 'unf,' but I can't think of one.
