My first language is English and I've intentionally broken its rules before. I'm not a big fan on words shortening or random caps and I'm a bit of stickler for grammar, but all out caps lock, excessive punctuation, and excessive text smiley faces are all a-okay in my pretty spiffy book. Although, I try reserving the latter rule breaking for special occasions. For the most part anyway.
