I hate them. Especially the "you're beautiful" ones. I'm fucking ugly. I'm generally okay with being fucking ugly, some people just are and there's no fixing it. Some of us are 2/10s. I have other things that I like about me and appearance doesn't have to be one of them.

So whenever a "You're pretty inside and out! <3" post comes up on my tumblr I just want to be like "fuck off, asshole, no I'm not and I never will be." And I also always feel like anyone who writes or reblogs it has no idea what its like to actually be less-than-average. They don't know what its like to be passed over for jobs or outright ignored because you're too weird looking and people don't like to be around you.

I also hate the whole "it gets better" thing. No it doesn't, not for me and not for a lot of people. Not everyone can move to a liberal paradise and live out their days happy and healthy and wealthy.
