Yeah well, that's what happens when you decide to stick one black character on a cast of predominantly white characters. Maybe if they tried to get more involved and chose to cast several black characters that filled several roles we wouldn't have this problem. But instead you get two magical negroes, and one severely underdeveloped Beta. I do think it's underlying racism.

Jeff has been known for treating ethnicity as interchangeable (he did it with the new character Kali - and he did it with Erica, who was originally supposed to be latina). He's also known for gloating about having an 'ethnic' character as the protagonist like he deserves a cookie for it. Jeff Davis is at least unconsciously racist.
