I love OCs as well

If there's any assholes who tell you in this thread "Don't write it no onte cares about your OC" I'll gladly tell them to find somewhere else to be an ass.

I love writing OCs in my fics and having a little something of mine in there really motivates me to work more on that fic. I don't know hy it just makes the fic mean more to me. Not in the sense of " I want everyone to adore my OC" but more for me. I love fanfiction but I find more and more that its more satisfying to have at least one thing that's yours. Also I tend to work really hard on that on making sure that one thing is as good as can be because it's so important to me. I love it and want it to be it's best. Of course I feel that way about the story too.

I reallyy hate it when I'm told that I should "just write original fiction and not fanfiction" because of that and "OCs annoy people". Onem I already write original fiction too. And two, I warn for OCs in the summary and tags , so those people can just not read them . I'm not going to just not write something because someone out there might be annoyed by it. I'm not accountable for pandering to every possible set of preferences.

And yes. I actually had someone tell me that. That I should not write it because it might annoy someone . I'd rather those people just not read the story and choose something they like .
