Re: Giving money to strangers

I give money if I have some to spare and if they aren't being aggressive. (Unless it's a bank-details-wanting chugger - then they only get a glare.)

When I lived in the city and was sometimes approached by homeless guys when I worked late I generally offered to buy them a sandwich and a coffee from Tesco instead. I don't know if that was right or just condescending, but a few of them me up on the offer now and again.
