Vikings! I'm really looking forward to the next episode. I love Ragnar and Lagertha and their children, and Athelstan is so, so sweet, and even though I don't always agree with their actions I can't help being hopelessly attached to them. Ragnar and Lagertha have one of the most fascinating and positive relationships I've seen in a long while as well, so that helps keep me interested.

And Spartacus is amazing even if it's going to be the death of me. SO SO AMAZING. I don't think any other show fucks with my emotions in the way Spartacus does. Which I guess could be considered a bad thing, but in this case...it's kinda not.

Also, Cole/Baird (from Gears of War) needs to be a thing. Those two have such an wonderful relationship, I kinda wish we could have a game set when they first met. And I need a follow up to Aftermath, gah.

that might be because Mickey was pleased not threatening, he as a character though can be threatening. And I dunno? it kinda looks like Nasir is laughing, but then again I'm not really sure whom he is so...

Yes that is Mickey from Shameless US, which is one of my favourite shows ever!

Btw watched the first episode of Vikings, I didn't want to kill the writers for any obvious faults. Except it amuses me when they say Bjørn, Ragnar and Loke, because it isn't pronounced that way in Norwegian. I do enjoy the accents though:) And one of the Skargårds are playing in this show so...

Haha, not wanting to kill the writers is a plus! I enjoy the accents too, but I don't know enough about the history to know how accurate everything is. Still...I'm not watching the show for accuracy.

Oh Floki... I have nothing against the actor (I don't know him) but his character annoys me something fierce. He's one of the few things I don't like about the show. That said, the rest of fandom adores him, so...you'll be in good company.

Oh that is whom he is playing, I have no idea whom he is. I just saw that one of the Skarsgårds where playing a role and it wasn't the usual Skarsgård.

I don't really like any of the characters yet, I've watched one episode, so I will get back to you at that. Though I am pretty sure I don't like Loke, I find Ragnar oddly attractive though, oh and I like his wife! She was awesome!

I use the tumblr app on my phone so no tumblr savior, but my dashboard is too fast to keep up with anyway and I don't mind looking at other fandom stuff. It can be fun. Plus, even if I had tumblr savior I wouldn't use it much, just on the stuff I absolutely hate. None of which you like, I think. And if I watch it I'm sure I will!

Yea, I noticed that early on too. I'm not a True Blood fan but the guy is good looking and I've seen enough of him around to know the name.

Ragnar is gorgeous imo, as is his badass wife. What a lovely (and sometimes hilarious) couple they make.

He is also my favourite character, because I am odd that way.

Oh? I tumblr. saviour a lot, and if people could learn to tag everything Supernatural related I could possibly not be spoiled for every damn episode. I really want to watch Supernatural, but. Anyway life goes on and it is no biggie really.

I don't watch True Blood, I just know the name, I could probably not recognize him. Then again I can barely recognize my favourite actors .

I shall have to continue to watch it. I do love the ship that Loke made in the first episode though!

Right? I don't gush because I have no one to gush to, but I reblog what I can find and love reading peoples comments on the episodes. It sounds like the show is getting good ratings, so I hope the fandom picks up soon.

Me too. The fact that it could be canon is wonderful, though I don't think it will be. (If the show were on HBO or even Starz it would be though. I'm sure of it.)

I think my friends on fb are probably considering blocking me right now lol because I keep talking about it...

I don't think that it'll ever be canon either, but I was surprised to see it even get suggested, honestly, and the chemistry all three have is quite nice. TBH the not-quite-ness of it will probably help propel the fandom; they can hint, and fandom will fill in the blanks.

AO3 is slowly building up its collection. Honestly I've been thinking about adding to it LOL. There's a kinkmeme now and some decent prompts waiting to be filled!

hopefully History will be encouraged to continue this trend though.. well, less with ridiculous interpretations of the Bible and more historical dramas. There's so many parts of history to choose from... and they ARE the history channel, lol
