I really liked that movie. I was a little surprised that everyone else in the world hates it. LOL

Taken all on its own, it's actually a fairly good movie. I mean, the plot build up was pretty well done, the action was good, Routh was fine, and Luthor was AWESOME.

People mainly dislike it in relation to the character of Superman in general and that movie series continuity in particular, I think.

That makes sense. I don't read the comics or have any particularly strong feelings about Superman besides having grown up with and loved the Christopher Reeves movies.

I agree about Lex Luthor. I loved loved loved Kevin Spacey's version of him.

I liked it too, but I didn't go into it with a lot of feelings about Superman.
