Re: Gush about media you like
I love the way that it's told. I love the combination of half a dozen different types of media that goes into telling it. I love the care that obviously goes into the worldbuilding and the plot. I love that the characters are pretty realistic teenagers; they can all be kind of assholes a lot of the time, and they don't always learn from their mistakes, but they nevertheless grow (although I've always felt like they should have been slightly older teenagers). I love its sense of humor.
It's not Amazing Modern Literature, but it's incredibly fun and engaging to read. I'm rereading it now, and I've still never felt like it's a matter of slogging through to read it.
