Isn't the "no smut" thing because that fandom is run by the same chick who runs the Disney Fairies fandom and she HATES all the fem!slash out there? Or am I remembering all the wank in the past wrong?

Either way, make your own writing space and do it!! There'd probably be a ton of people who'd love it. Now if only the same could be done for the fairies....I need more Tinkerbell/Vidia...

OP Here, and omfg that's the other fandom I've got half finished smut sitting on my laptop with! I adore the Fairies, but havent' found many other adult fans! So glad to see others who ship Tink/Vidia!

There's like...three smutty fics on disney_kink that I can think of. Two I think involved Tink and Vidia, the other is the entire group taking turns with Vidia (never read that one as it's not my cup of tea).

SO ANNOYED at the lack of good Tink/Vidia!!

Mostly it;s Vidia with either Rosetta or that fairy that only exists in the books, Prilla? I think? But the movies have such GLORIOUS moments and some subtext with Tinkerbell and Vidia, I just don't get how it's such a rare ship!!

I thought so. I tried looking into those communities and they're so...boring.

And the person who mentioned not wanting this to become the Brony fandom...I highly doubt it would if there was smut in the fandom. Mostly because, this show and doll line and the Disney Fairies line, they don't cater to douchebag manbabies. But that doesn't mean we adult fans want it to be completely vanilla and sterile.

How can a single person "run" a fandom? There are many places to go if you are a Monster High fan. Or are you strictly talking about one tumblr or one DW/LJ?

When I went looking for communities, that are active mind, for the Disney Fairies, they were run by this one mod who gets a ton of hate on here from time to time. she also happens to be the mod of one of the biggest comms for Monster High. There really isn't much else and I think she trolls the others into making them scarce (that may or may not be true, i can't remember).

And I distinctly remember there being this hoopla over her not allowing or disapproving of anything really romantic related (unless it was terrance and tinkerbell) and there a distinct NO SMUT in her comms.

Now I can understand preferences and such, but people can label and warn for all kinds of things and if she doesn't want to see it....don't click. But she's essentially run that thought into the ground it's become this weird...no-no thing in both fandoms (i'm going on hear say for monster high since i'm not in it, but i saw some of that with the fairies when i went looking for fic).

Eww, I'm glad I go to a different place to get my Monster High fix.
Granted, smut hasn't come up yet because no one seems to be interested, but at least all ships and headcanons are accepted.

I've heard about monsterhighdolls.com being against f/f and m/m. I'm not part of this community, but there was wank a few months ago about f/f or m/m photos, stories or fanart gets rejected because it falls under "child unfriendly" (because Mattel often lurks on this site) while het gets accepted.
And when I talk about f/f and m/m I mean only simple kissing or even holding hands or hugging.

I hope they got rid of this homophobic rule by now. Especially since MH was partially created by gay guys and Mattel as a company is very supportive of homosexual and trans people.
