Poor OP. I couldn't imagine doing that. I have to watch the endings of things I really like, even when things start going to shit way before the end. That way I get really good ideas of where to fuck with everything in fanfic so my fave characters can have the endings I wanted them to.

Yes, this! I only do that with stupid, ambiguous or disproportionately sad endings. Animorphs, looking at you. The end of #54 never happened, right?
