Most of it seems to be on tumblr. There are a few communities here and there on LJ but they aren't very active from what I've seen, aside from the kink meme.

Walkingdead-tv over on LJ has some activity; live-posts and discussion posts for the episodes, links to interviews/cast news, fanworks, etc. It's not super-huge, but it's vaguely lively.
