Fandoms: Blake's 7 took over my life a few months ago, but mostly I am Doctor Who (primarily Classic and Big Finish). Also Hornblower (bookverse) and other AoS stuff, and considering Sapphire & Steel. And I am currently interested in (but not part of the fandom for) Star Trek (particularly TNG), Marvel Avengers, Horrible Histories, Avatar: the Last Airbender, and I am very much looking forward to Teen Wolf series 3. I was previously a massive Potter fan. But now we are just good friends (I enjoyed 'The Casual Vacancy, though, very much).
What in fandom interests me: Fic, mostly. But I also really like podfic for my fandoms.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: I don't RP, but I wouldn't say i was NOT interested in it - I'm relatively interested in hearing about other people's RP experience. And I like the odd fanvid, though I don't seek them out.
Major Non-fandom Interests: Baking, German-style board games, complaining about work, Tatty Devine jewellery.
My LJ/DW Contains Mostly: At the moment... posts about Gareth Thomas. And Paul Darrow. And fic. But in general it has lots of stuff about my fandoms (there's usually more about Doctor Who/Big Finish), and stuff about my life, and pictures of bread I made.

as for sapphire & steel - it's rather brilliant and incredibly creepy. and the leads are fantastic and i love their relationship (also - silver, who is the third main character. ish - is great fun, he's the flirty dandy one, to steel's scowly dedicated one and sapphire's lightly amused/more social than steel but still otherworldly one. i would maybe start with his first episode, which is assignment 3) it does move incredibly slowly, though, but and the stories are quite long. i had to go away in the middle of the first 'assignment' and come back almost a year later, but once i came back i got hooked pretty fast.
