Wow, Darrow looks very different there than in B7. And better, actually.
I've heard about Sapphire & Steel but I've never seen it...

i totally agree! both the beard and the proper smile make him look much more attractive.

as for sapphire & steel - it's rather brilliant and incredibly creepy. and the leads are fantastic and i love their relationship (also - silver, who is the third main character. ish - is great fun, he's the flirty dandy one, to steel's scowly dedicated one and sapphire's lightly amused/more social than steel but still otherworldly one. i would maybe start with his first episode, which is assignment 3) it does move incredibly slowly, though, but and the stories are quite long. i had to go away in the middle of the first 'assignment' and come back almost a year later, but once i came back i got hooked pretty fast.
