But why do you have to slash them? Darken Rahl is an awesome character. And there are a lot of potential people to pair him with. Such as Cara, Denna, any of the other Mord'Sith, Kahlan, etc. Why do you feel you have to have him paired with a guy?

I love me some Darken/Cara (D/K not so much), but I also wish the show had given us some nice slash potential. Because I also like slash. *shrug*

Personally, slash/femslash and het fulfill different cravings for me. I usually come to fandom for my slash/femslash and get my het wholesale, so fandom het? Not interesting to me.
