Jared I feel is terrible with flashes of average. And all the praise I see for him is due almost entirely to the director knowing how to point the camera to get that emotion. Yeah dude looks vulnerable, he's being light right and the camera angle would make anyone look alone and vulnerable. Dude can't emote or read his lines worth shit when he does have something to work with.

Jensen is better and definitely carries the brother scenes. I feel he's got dead eyes most of the time tho, even before hell and irl so not a character choice.

And I wonder if Jared is so hell bent on sabotaging Misha every chance he gets (that and I'm sure its hilarious), because the moment he came on the show people have been praising him for his acting and Jared tries to level the playing field. Not talking fans praising him, I'm talking actual reviewers.

Not to say Misha is teh best 5evah, he's got his acting issues to, but he's miles better then Jared is these days
