Don't forget the fivehead. Jared plays it off like no big, but it has to bug him. OTOH, I adore the con videos, when there are good ones I can actually understand whoever is speaking, because Jared seriously comes alive talking to fans and to Jensen in an unscripted situation. I'd love to see him on an improv show.

And I agree with you on Jensen. Dean doesn't really have the range needed to keep Jensen interested. I'm not sure that's the right word, because I think Jensen is, as others have said, a professional who, when it comes down to it, loves his work. But Dean is hard-wired to protect Sam, and that doesn't allow for a wide range of reactions or actions. It probably helps Jensen stay interested that he's been able to direct and can look at things from that perspective too. I loved Jensen in Dark Angel, and even in Bloody Valentine (although I didn't love the movie). He can actually act but Dean doesn't really give him the vehicle anymore.

My favorite seasons are 1 and 2, for a few reasons, but it was all still fresh for everyone involved.
