oh come on, the material? no, he's just crap, sam has lots of material to go on for good performances. i do think jared really, really tries though, but an A for effort isn't everything. and everybody's overrated by fandom. rose-tinted glasses are a requirement, it seems. there are some people i follow on tumblr who will rave about jared's acting for days (they have) and i really wonder what show they're watching instead.
