Re: Looking for gen fandoms

I can't think of any fandoms that are primarily gen, but if you just go to any big fandom archive (site or journal) you should be able to find substantial gen sections. I'm pretty sure you can specify gen in your searches at ff.net for example. Other than that, just searching for 'gen recs' in google comes up with heaps of results.

If you still can't find good fic, there are a lot of fandoms which have plenty of canon type stories or adventures, just with a sprinkling of romance or slash on top. Going through the 'case file' or 'action/adventure' tag at epic recs on lj might yield some fics that are low enough on the slash content to be palatable, for instance.
