I know what you mean, OP. I'm mainly into seinen manga, and I've lost count of how many times I've bemoaned the lack of fandom. As for these two in particular, I love them to bits -- and I'm just thankful that there are quite a few doujinshi to be had.

I feel your pain. Not into this particular pairing (at least not as much as into a few others? I do love these two though) but the lack of English fandom depresses me all the same. Where is the fic?!

ZIPANG OMG. My favorite WWII time travel anything. It's so hard to find good stuff. I didn't even know there WAS a fandom, even a small one.

I know that base, and the pier the Mirai sailed from. That's always tickled me.
