Could be. Look at how youthful monks both Christian and Buddhist look like.

It probably doesn't count as a skincare regime, but it certainly would help. Not being outside your skin wouldn't receive the sundamage and weathering other people get, and having a humid/damp climate around you would lessen the amount your skin dried out so it would stay hydrated and youthful looking.

Fuck if I know, man, but I'm like 25 and people swear I'm barely above twenty. And I avoid the sun like I was a vampire.

My mom's friend tanned her whole young life and I swear that woman looks ancient. Tanning is not good for your skin in the long run.
