That and the blocking was just so... gah! There also seemed to be no regard for just the power dynamics at play with regards to their age, gender, physical health, I could go on.

ugh yes oh god! I just can't even wrap my head around what they were aiming at? Derek is so fucking creepy.

And then lol at all the fans writing in meta about how Derek has this huge plan, and he's gonna take Stiles as his mate, and Erica needs to get with Boyd and Isaac and Scott and Allison will have a love trio in order to infiltrate Scott into the pack and gain support with the hunters.

First of all, Derek can't plan his way out of a shoebox. Second, that is so incredibly creepy that so many people just seem to be okay with this guy making life decisions for the teenagers he is now in control of.

I'm with you. I think, honestly, Derek rarely has a plan. He seems to do most of his stuff on either very basic plans like, "Need to get stronger > Bite people" or succeeds by the skin of his teeth. There can be exceptions but I see them as just that, exceptions.

Second, that is so incredibly creepy that so many people just seem to be okay with this guy making life decisions for the teenagers he is now in control of.

Yeeeaaaaahhhh, I'm not sure how that would make anything better.
