(Anonymous) 2013-03-27 01:20 am (UTC)(link)Right? Erica had just gone through a complete transformation and clearly reveals in being "sexy" and is using it to her advantage wherever she can. Derek has serious issues with how he views relationships.
I just thought they needed 3 betas. There is something mentioned maybe in the books how that makes Derek stronger and how he knew the alpha pack would be coming and was trying to build a strong pack. And then he sucked at it. Honestly I didn't like Erica all at that much at the beginning, but TW can use all the females it can get.
She was also meant to be a love interest for stiles (we could have had it alllll even though she knocked him out with car parts) but they decided there wasn't enough chemistry there so went with her & boyd instead.

I have no idea about the books so I'll take your word for it.
Her and Stiles? Uh... huh. I can see it. As I said earlier, I'm willing to ship almost everything. I think my only problem with her knocking him out is that I wasn't really sure why she though Stiles deserved that at the time.
*(Though spoilers: I hear she's not coming back.)

(Anonymous) 2013-03-27 01:31 am (UTC)(link)Honestly i'm mostly only sad that Erica isn't coming back because she was the only lady werewolf :( I don't think they really had time to dedicate to her storyline.
I think she knocked him out because she could. Violence is played for laughs on this show. I also think her "crush" was just something she made up for the attention.
But regardless, i love erica she's one of my favorites and if she got proper screentime & development i'd be pretty excited about her.

Huh, could be. I may watch it again, just to figure it out.
I think she's interesting. I honestly wish she at least gets a few cameos.
