The reasons i ship sterek is because they have chemistry (they make these FACES at each other for goodness sake) but also because Stiles is super loyal, and someone that loyal is someone i could see Derek ending up with. PLUS someone who knows about hunters & werewolves. But also I'd like to see him trust a human again (i don't think he has much trust for humans)
So yay romance, but also just yay for some trust & friendship too.
Its really NOT about the sex for lots of people.
but then there are some where it clearly is so...

(Anonymous) 2013-03-27 01:56 am (UTC)(link)Oh yeah I don't see anything wrong with the rant where it's about not just being interested in sex. But then they go on about being "de-legitimized" and having slights thrown at them and I just can't comprehend any further.
That was in response to these quotes in an MTV article, btw:
“While the likelihood of ever witnessing sexytime between Derek/Stiles is pretty slim”
“It’s a wonder Sterek and a legion of young women don’t take over the entire world”
I don't even see how a legion of women taking over the entire world is a slight anyway, that sounds pretty awesome.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-27 02:01 am (UTC)(link)I think part of it is that you've just never really seen a non-canon homosexual relationship become canon (or even many just be canon in a non-issues show) and it'd be really great to FINALLY see a will-they-won't-they be two guys or girls. Or at the very least not assuming straightness
But yeah legions of women taking over the world would be super! :D
