Yay and ugh

Well my old computer finally died today. I went out to the local computer store to order a nice new totally super gaming laptop.

However it comes with a free trial of Norton Ati-virus. Ugh....no thanks.

I'm gone to uninstall that as soon as I get my computer home, however I wondered if just uninstalling it was enough.

Is there anyway to be that I have the Norton crap completely off my system?

Also have you ever had a computer, that you've had for years...and you kinda miss it? I know I'm going to miss my old computer.

Been a while since I used Norton, but apparently they still have their removal tool. I remember skipping that, uninstalling it, cleaning my registry, and combing through any folders and log files left behind.

My first laptop is a cabinet right next to me. I miss XP, and completely regret calibrating the battery in such a stupid way that it nuked the battery life, meaning I had to replace it with this one I'm using now whose battery life is pretty non-existent due to natural circumstances.
I remember trying to run the first Portal on it. It would wheeze ♥
