This! The Henry hate (along with the Charming hate) pisses me the fuck off. He's an eleven year old kid They do shit like this.

And I don't think the actor's that bad either.

I also can't stand the Regina stans who insist she's a good mother when the woman's raped, murdered, and killed people, some of that when he was under her roof! Let's not forget the fact that SHE FUCKING MURDERED HIM when she tried to poison Emma and was lucky true's love kiss was able to bring him back. So yeah, I don't blame him for not trusting Regina.

This is what annoys me the most about the hardcore Regina shippers. With some of their arguments, I sometimes wonder if I'm watching the same show as them.

You forgot the worst part, she LIED all of those years to Henry's face. Henry believed everyone in Storybrooke were characters from a his book and Regina laughed it off like it was nonsense and sent Henry to Hoppers. And she knew every bit of it was true. And she wasn't doing it to protect Henry. She did it so she could keep on having her revenge.

But she was really, really sorry for doing all of that, and she's turned over a new leaf! Remember that one episode, where she apologized for all the terrible things done? And where she had that wonderful redemption arc that ended with her totally redeemed?

Wait. No. None of that happened.

To be fair she did try to redeem herself but Cora screwed that up.

But is just wanting to look better in Henry's eyes so that he'll stay with her, instead of wanting to make amends for its own sake, redemption? I never really bought it when she embarked on that short-lived path, because her motivations still felt self-centered to me. She never seemed to take responsibility for anything she did, and I don't think she'll truly be redeemed until she does.

Its would have been a good first step. You get redemption in one go, it is a lot of tiny steps that can often start with something for personal gain. Its a slow process.

Technically it wasn't murder, but manslaughter. His (temporary) death was an accident, she was aiming for Emma but he ate the poison pie instead of her. Reggie was pretty broken up over that. She does love him, its pretty much her only redeeming feature. Everything else you say is true though. Regina is the classic abused kid repeating the cycle as an adult.

Actually, I think under the felony murder rule, it was murder. When the perpetrator kills accidentally or without specific intent to kill in the commission of a felony, he or she can be charged with murder. And any participant in such a felony is criminally liable for any deaths that occur during or in furtherance of that felony.
