Regardless of sex, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, even if it's not directed at you, it's not OK. I think people don't realize how sexual harassment works. My coworkers do things like that a lot, and generally we tend to laugh it off, but I don't think they realize that if a certain kind of person comes along and hears or witnesses things like that, we could all get in trouble.

I don't want my coworkers to hate me, so I never say anything but I do hate all the dirty jokes and insinuations a small group tend to do everyday (and they're so loud about it). I usually eye roll in my mind, but I think my boss is aware that it gets on my nerves. He's kind of made a few small comments to me about it all every now and again when we're talking, but I think we have a mutual understanding that we should just let everyone have their fun since he and I are a bit more liberal than some other coworkers and they tend to get quiet when he and I get into discussions about gun control, legalization of marijuana (yeah, I live in Colorado), same sex marriage, health care reform, and all that good stuff.

You can watch "The Office". LOL When I have a day where I think, "I think I saw this topic covered in an episode of 'The Office,'" I watch it and feel better.
