Yeah, the squirrels were kind of a big deal - they're even on his action figure - but he hasn't had them since the first season. They would get in the way of his spiffy poncho/badass leather jacket. XD

I'm only maybe starting on this fandom (There was a marathon and I watched part of the end of an ep. but it was good). Either way, I think anytime fans get attached to a character the writers really have to think before they kill them off.

Oh god shut up, OP. ;3; When/If he or Glenn or Maggie (or Carol or Hershel or Rick or Carl)dies......I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT.

Which basically means I'm a mess when I watch this. I've cried at every major death. :<

I'm torn. I agree, but at the same time, I might have to rage-quit for a while because I like him so much. I know in survival ensemble shows it's kind of a given, but I get so invested and then they croak... I felt that way watching Lost, too. Like "Argh if they kill Hurley, Sawyer or Charlie, I'm OUT." Sure enough, several Desmond Visions and a Not Penny's Boat later, I was done. It took me a long time to give enough shits to come back to watch the end, I think once it was on Netflix, and man Juliet and the bomb almost made me give up again. :<

So, yeah, I think if they off anybody outside of Daryl and Glenn, I'll deal. But otherwise they can catch me on DVD in a few years.

I love Daryl to pieces. And if/when he does go, I'll most likely be crushed. But you're right, the fallout will probably be kind of amazing.

rick grimes (less so since this season) hershel & michonne are my faves so i am OK with daryl dying if he takes merle with him
