I don't think there's really that much room for debate. I mean, what are the positions you can take out?

That Jaime just sees Brienne as a friend and as an ideal of honor.

I mean Jaime obviously cares about Brienne, but I do think you can debate as to whether it's romantic or not.

ehhhhh fair enough. FAIR ENOUGH.

at the very least it's friendship and admiration with at least a bit of lust. i think the precise nature of Jamie's feelings towards her aren't especially clear even to Jaime at this point, you know, that sort of thing. it's complicated. he has ambiguously-defined positive feelings because of the nature of their relationship and the circumstances surrounding the whole thing.

Yeah, I mean, I ship it. But I wouldn't tell someone that if they don't ship it, they're ignoring canon because I do think that Jaime's feelings are a lot less clearly defined than Brienne's are.
