I thought about that, but... their gender is part of them, and I kind of like them better as girls. But maybe I could do that anyway... a male version of Peridot might be interesting? idk.

I don't know the first fandom, but I do know I've seen a whole bunch of genderbent Homestuck AUs and drawings! And I think a genderbent Aradia would be pretty neat, actually. Heck, there's probably a design out there you could use.

But I understand your reasons, anon, and I wish you luck with whatever you do decide to do! :D

See, and now I'm sitting here wondering if genderbent Aradia could still be a Maid. I think Maid is a female-exclusive class? And I like God Tier Aradia best, though pre-death Aradia's pretty cool too. Hm...

The other fandom is Cucumber Quest (http://cucumber.gigidigi.com/), which is a much smaller fandom than Homestuck and I assume has far, far fewer cosplayers. Which makes me feel like maybe if I cosplayed it, I should try to be faithful to canon, because there wouldn't necessarily be someone else dressed up as canon!Peridot? Or something? But I have no idea if that's a thing that matters. ...I don't actually know much about the cosplay scene; I should probably learn more...
