RIP. This reminds me that I think I heard that David Tennant always wished he'd gotten a chance to perform with Courtney on the show, and he was apparently a fan of the Brigadier when he was a kid.

Courtney had a lot of health issues and stuff though, so that was probably the reason. And...well, since he obviously couldn't be there in person, well, I can't think of anything more emotionally genuine than that heartbreaking phone conversation and the look on Eleven's face when he heard the news... ;_;

And then KATE. The entirety of Kate was probably my single favorite thing that has happened on TV in the whole past year. I'm a hopeless sentimental moron :)
