I actually liked Turn Left but I think I might be in the minority with that. I thought most of Donna's run was good.

I really liked studying Ten during his run. His companions didn't always have the best story arcs but analyzing Ten in terms of his reactions to his companions always fascinated me. It's why I enjoyed a lot of episodes that people hated, like a lot of Martha's run. Cuz it showed the shitty parts of Ten--the parts that weren't all bouncy and bubbles. IDK I'm weird.

Turn Left would have rocked, what with focus on Donna and Wilf, if they'd just made one teeny-tiny, small change to the story.

Captain Jack can be in anything (or anyone) he wants, 'cause he's Captain Jack. Mickey would indeed have rocked. But even just a random scientist would have been better than Blondie Bad Acting.

Er...I gotta ask: have you actually been exposed much to this fandom? Because I dunno where you get your info from, but almost everyone thinks that season 3 was one of the best seasons -- it had the best string of highest quality episodes, apart from the Dalek two-parter. The only people who hate season 3 are rabid Rosefen who hated Martha.

Also, BZZT NO, again, you're dead wrong about Turn Left. How on earth did you get the idea you're in the minority? Turn Left is a huge fan favorite and everyone and their mothers and their dogs except for the handful of misogynistic idiots who hate Donna (or who hate Rose enough to hate it in spite of Donna) thought it was an amazing episode. (Which it is.)

And again, BZZT NO. Everyone thinks the ending of Martha's character arc and everything before the ending of Donna's character arc were utterly amazing. Because they were.

What horrible idiot fans with horrible shitty opinions do you have the misfortune of associating with? Whoever they are, your opinions are way too good for them.

I was just baffled at how on earth you managed to make such completely unrepresentative inferences about general widespread fandom opinion, and I assumed it must be because your fandom circles suck. Because Doctor Who fandom really has the most contradictory variety of individual opinions ever.

But...I wasn't calling their opinion wrong, and I wasn't opinion policing. I was calling their impression of what the general fandom consensus on season 3 and Turn Left inaccurate. Because a factual thing, and their impression of the facts was inaccurate.

Personal opinions are an entirely different matter. I wasn't attacking wildcat's personal opinions. In fact, I agreed with them.
