Maybe everyone's just "bwuh?" Like, the same reason no one exploded over Jenny randomly coming back to life and being out somewhere in the universe. It's just too "bwuh?" to really wank about. Eleven's farewell tour made me literally pause and look to see if I had missed an episode. WHAT. What about, what did he, why didn't he, what happened while he...how come when he comes back he's just...how come he didn't...but..but but but...WAT. MOFFAT.

Hehe. The first time I saw Ten's farewell tour I was like "lol, dude, you think you'll magically stop loving them after you regenerate? Don't be such a drama queen." But when it was revealed in "Death of the Doctor" that he went back and visited every single one of his companions, not just the New Who ones, I did a 180 and retroactively completely fucking adored it instead.

I mean, it just means something different now, y'know? Now it's more like "Well, I just watched my species act like complete monsters and try to destroy the universe and then die. Again. And I still haven't properly recovered from Mars. And now I'm gonna regenerate instead of getting the chance to recover from all this shit naturally. And I had a big embarrassing nervous breakdown in front of a poor sweet old man. Geez. But hey, I wasn't lying when I said it was my honor, and I've always been a corny old sap, so I think I'll take a moment to remind myself of all my most cherished memories and all the most important things in my life and hope I always remember how important they are.

Oh, and rescue Sarah's kid. Hang on, how did I even know about that?"
