I'm a little confused here. If the author meant it was "dubious consent" just because the person was half-asleep while cuddling that's a bit odd. But if they meant someone was cuddled up to someone who may not have really wanted it, that's legit to me.

I see what you're getting at but I think warnings vs. spoilers is always going to be a huge mess.

They both wanted to be cuddled-- they just didn't voice the desire aloud (when they were awake, basically) because neither of them knew the other was interested in them. But it pretty much came down to the both of them at the very least being okay with it.
