Eh, isn't symmetrical features one of those things people subconsciously look for in a mate/partner? The more symmetrical your face = the more attractive you are the majority of the population.

As someone that wrote one of the "fandom classics" for my pairing, it's a bit of an odd experience. It's nice that people rec it and a lot of people love it, but I don't have any expectation that everyone will read it and enjoy it.

It's totally okay to dislike a fandom classic. Sometimes stories just hit people in different ways, and a lot of people enjoy something that doesn't move me at all. It's completely normal and fine. The worst thing that will happen to you unless you go around saying "X story sucks," is that people will probably rec it to you multiple times when you tell them you're into that fandom. That's not much.

Uh, let's see. I have several thoughts in response to this; I'll try to keep them organized.

1. Not caring about anything can be a symptom of depression. Have you had that checked?
2. If you want to get worked up about something, the real world has a vast number of troubling situations to get worked up over.
2a. If you can't feel passion on real-world subjects, that's... kind of odd and doesn't say anything good about your empathy, although it's not unique.
2b. Also, it can be harder to get un-worked-up over them, because they never go away and actually are a big deal, unlike most fandom brouhahas, so they might not be the best choice if you're looking for mental stimulation.

I'm a little confused here. If the author meant it was "dubious consent" just because the person was half-asleep while cuddling that's a bit odd. But if they meant someone was cuddled up to someone who may not have really wanted it, that's legit to me.

I see what you're getting at but I think warnings vs. spoilers is always going to be a huge mess.
