I agree completely with this. "Cum" is a crude word, and if you're writing certain pairings, it's completely out of place. "Come" isn't a particularly crude word, and it reads as more upscale, imo. "Cum" completely destroys any sexy in a scene when I read it.

Also "cum" is semen, and using it as a verb reads as incorrect to me, although I understand that's not the case for everyone.

I don't even like it being used for semen. It still looks wrong, and come is grammatically correct for semen and just looks better.

I'm with you on that. It looks wrong, like the person should be using u for 'you' and things like that as well.

For me, it's come. Ejaculate, semen, and a slew of other, fluffier words.
