I am asexual and I never know how to write those fics. I love having asexual characters (and I write/RP a number of characters as such) but there doesn't seem to be a good way to make it a central point of the fic without turning it into a Very Special Episode.

I don't even know the fandom but this fic pleases me.

I suppose the problem is to have the character be clearly asexual without making a big pedestal point about it, but not to be so subtle that it completely goes under the radar. The balance is awkward. For example, I RP the character in my icon as being asexual due to this or that bit of canon characterization, but even if it came up he'd have no words to describe it.
