In manga, they have loads and loads of 'trace' books where an artist can use stock images for backgrounds, objects and whatnot. It's a pretty common practice and considering that comics in Japan come out at a faster pace than the ones here in the US, it's pretty smart.

Once again though, Neneko didn't use stock images like that. There's a difference. IMO, I agree with OP. Bitch deserved that blog about her, the only thing about that whole ordeal that makes me feel sad is that the blog shut down. And I say this as a former fan of Neneko's too. That's what she deserves for stealing.

I was just explaining (poorly and halfway) that there's tracing for comics that acceptable, then there's neneko who flat out stole for half of that 'comic'.

This, though it's considered bad to trace from other mangakas and from sources not intended to be used for tracing.
