Oh, there are plenty of groups that release songs that definitely do not sound "just like the Western stuff". But when somebody is eating up the same type of music (europop as a basic category), when they discount a song that's been written by a similar composer (a lot of K-Pop composers are from Europe) of music they like... if it's in Korean and there might be choreo they completely discount it. Which is tiring.

If the only thing you like is heavy metal, I mean. I might make fun of you a little in my soul for your narrow music choices but I won't feel sad that you don't like a dance song.
