You know, for a while there in the Harry Potter fandom there were quite a few Harry/Hermione shippers who got very insistent about it.

Since the last movie, though, they seem to have pretty much just quietly vanished like a puff of smoke. I wonder where they've all headed off to, fandom-wise.

I think that's true of a lot of fanfic writers to some extent, but I think for fic writers in general the fun reward is just in getting fic out there and seeing people critique it and give you warm praise fuzzies or good tips on how to improve your writing. :)

I can only really get into music that I can understand the lyrics to. The only exception for me is opera. So yes, the music might be similar but the fact that I don't understand the language is, to me, a valid reason not to like it.
