I am like 100% sure that "making drawn child porn illegal" (or even extraordinarily overzealous enforcement of same) is not the reason that "everyone hates our country and wishes it would get obliterated already."

Maybe that's true of you, in which case you're a bad person in addition to being an idiot and a bigot. But I'm pretty sure it has very little to do with anti-Americanism more broadly. I'm fairly certain that no Islamic terrorists are fulminating in favor of drawn depictions of underage sex. I am fairly certain that no leftist French politicians are raging against the dominance of prudish American sexual mores. I'm fairly certain that there is a laundry list of things that people find more objectionable, rightly or wrongly - our culture, our export of our culture, our tendency towards unthinking arrogance, our imperialist foreign policy, our financial system, the prevalence of religious fundamentalism in our country. But I am damn sure that it's not actually about loli or shota.

It's not the bigotry that gets me. I don't like the bigotry, but I can handle it. It's the stupidity that's killing me.

I am like 100% sure that the "hurr durr comics etc. are for kids" notion that comes from american culture is a perfectly legitimate reason to add to your laundry list. Also the arrogance and the ignorance. See the Matheson but especially the Texas vs Castillo cases, in which no "drawn depictions of underage sex" at all were involved.

As for the loli/shota thing, do whatever you want within your borders, but don't go around pushing your views on others. I don't like it nor approve of it in the least and I want nothing to do with it, but I'm still glad my country is intelligent enough to separate fiction from reality.
