I think an argument could be made for Derek being pretty hetero, but yeah, it definitely leans toward Dean/Cas. Despite all the meta and arguments some people put out about him being ~canonically bi~.

I think that's a common misconception for people who don't actually watch the show.

Sure, in the first couple of seasons, he was the classic pussy hound character and would allude to numerous encounters (and we saw a few), but he hasn't been that in like 4 years.

I'm trying to think how many women he's slept with since he got out of hell.

Jaime, Anna, Lisa, The Amazon and... IDK, I feel like I'm forgetting someone? Either way, 4 women in 4 years isn't all that active (exception for Lisa, whom he lived with for a year, and I assume he had regular sex with).

I mean, technically, Sam's had far more sex than him in the last four years, considering his long term relationships with Ruby and Amelia, that alcoholic chick whose name I don't remember, his numerous hookups as soulless Sam, and even Genevieve Padalecki.

So... No. There's no way you can twist it to say that Dean has a "very active" sex life. Unless you include masturbation, of which he seems to do a lot more of, if his hentai and porn magazines mean anything.

Stiles also does things like ask his (male) BFF to make out with him. He's obviously not gay, but being into Lydia doesn't make him "VERY hetero" I don't think.

Also, he frequently dislikes "excessive" emotional displays, reacts in a somewhat disbelieving way to homosexual implications, while he takes lesbian implications better.

The thing about the muscle car and guns can be easily explained by his lifestyle - the car was his father's car, so yes he values it. The guns are absolutely necessary as part of his Hunter life. The way he treats both as marks of his manhood above and beyond those facts is the real indication of his overt hetrosexual behaviour (I will point out that Sam, who lives the same lifestyle, is less inclined to overt displays to prove his hetrosexuality).
