I do admit that the constant use of that word in fanfics is a bit grating (most fans just seem to use it as the Asgardian version of the inslut 'fag', and if the world 'fag' featured as prominently in my fics it'd be grating, too) but... it seems to be in use even in other pairing Loki is involved in. Why the special hate for this particular one?
