Hollywood is indeed filled with closet cases, but they tend to be the ones who have a lot to lose at this point by coming out--A-list action stars, e.g. The premise that a minor TV star is being kept under lock and key by evil PR reps because he gayness threatens their TV empire is ridiculous. Maybe the actor prefers to keep his private life private, but in that case the last thing he'd do would be to start a secret affair with his co-star.
