I feel the same whenever I see an interview that once again pairs up the same actors. It gets old and repetitive. They also tend to ask similar questions too.

I just want variety.

This is why I LOVED the Watchmen interviews. They were always paired up differently and we got to see other sides of their chemistry. ; u ;

Ah man, now you're making me want to watch the interviews which will make me want to watch the movie. Damn you! *shakes fist* I have a busy school schedule!

I agree that some variety would be nice, but TBH I'll watch just about any interview with these people regardless of who they're paired with. (Also, mmm Chris and Chris.)

I hadn't thought about it, but now that you say it I agree :\ Although some of the "pairs" are amazing together and I would be a little sad if they were separated lol

Yeah, and didn't Chris H do an interview with Mark Ruffalo?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-01 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Was that the one where they played charades and Hemsworth guessed that Ruffalo was going to have his baby?

(Anonymous) 2013-03-31 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I fucking hate Pinto.

There needed to be more Urban and Pine interviews. There better be with STXII. BC

THIS

I get pairing Pine and Quinto together in interviews but come on! I just want a couple with Pine and Urban.

What IS the reason for it?

[personal profile] nyxelestia 2013-04-01 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
No, seriously, I never really understood that...

But yes, up to a certain point, once you've seen one interview, you've seen them all. But then, I tend to be pretty apathetic towards "behind the scenes" of movies in general, so I almost never watch them anyway. All the gifsets of their interviews look the same...

Well I know they are paired because a lot of time they do like 20 or so interviews a day, with the interviewers moving from room to room. This will cause a lot of interviews to have the same pairs.

And then they pair actors based on characters. Hence Ruffalo + Downey because their characters are buddies. Johansson and Renner because they are sort of the small, non extraordinary Avengers. And the Chris's because they are leftover. That is why Hiddleston was generally by himself or paired with a random person. Or Quinto and Pine because their characters are frenemies.

The former reason makes sense. The latter just seems...weird. o.O Thanks for explaining! :)

Who will be the lucky STer to get paired up with Cumberbatch?

(Anonymous) 2013-04-01 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
He's been doing most of his alone, so I think they'll probably stick with that. Him being the"big, bad villain" and all

I've noticed in the Hobbit fandom all the interviews of Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage are either individual, or with each other.

I tend to think that may be because of schedules, the fact that both of them are English (if the interviews are done in England it'd be easier to get them both in), or that they are arguably the the lead characters.

It's more common to see group interviews of the Company that doesn't include them.

I also can't help notice there's a few interviews floating around of James Nesbitt and Aidan Turner together, which I wonder if that's because they're both Irish.
